1. Be consistent

Make sure your brand is consistent across all platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn. This is also goes for any advertising you do make sure your branding is clear and your message about what you do is also consistent.

2. Get involved

Give advice online, be seen to be an expert in your area in a public space. Facebook are great for this but also commenting on posted content is another way to get your brand seen.

3. Support other businesses

Profile your clients, showing the great brands and people you work with boosts your brand too. It is also a great way to create content. Another excellent way to show your business cares is to help a cause, volunteer and post about it or even donate to a particular cause and share that link so others can donate too.

4. Audit

Audit and do it often. How many times have you been to a website and the link is wrong or an image is misaligned? Ask a business contact or friend to audit your website and socials this means you will avoid a prospective client finding the error.

5. Show up

Although your presence online is essential you have to back this by showing up in person. Whether it be attending a networking event or charity luncheon - whatever it is this backs your brand and shows you in the flesh which is the only real way to build relationships in business.....I think anyway!
